This statement... turned around the other
way...My perception of you is a reflection of me....This statement used to
bother me. I related it to seeing people do things to others that were mean,
rude, and unkind...and I knew I would never treat anyone..like they treated
someone. But, that changed when my understanding was opened...I understood that
what I am perceiving in other people is not what they do to other people, but
WHY they do those things to others. I MAY NEVER SHOOT AND KILL ANOTHER PERSON,
I MAY NEVER BACK STAB A FRIEND, I MAY NEVER SPIT IN SOMEONES FACE.....BUT JUST
like the people who react in ways I may not....I have experienced fear, I have
experienced self-hate, I have experienced conditioned thinking, I have
experienced being controlled by unconscious destructive thinking patterns. The
disconnect that we have with other human beings is based on an illusion. We may
think we are BETTER than other people in many ways...... we may think we are
separate from other people, or disconnected. Wither we are aware of it or
not...the truth is we are all connected to each other. We may not WANT to
be....but we are, we can build a wall...and think we are different, we may have
superficial differences like skin color, economical status,,,,that deceive us
into thinking we are different....but we are not. Not one person is better than
another...wither we know that or not. We like thinking we are different,
better, richer, prettier, what ever superficial difference we embrace....we
deceive ourselves and live in a false reality. Saying that......If we continue
believing those lies about our differences.....if we continue believing what we
tell ourselves about those people, or that person, we will continue to live in
that bubble that has a false since of protection and arrogance. When and only
when we see ourselves as one humanity....can we begin to turn the world around.
Its as simple as having a dis-like for someone....that dis-like is enough by
itself to place a false barrier between us that breeds hate, confusion,
deception, and the greatest lie among man kind.......that we are separate...and
we are different...and we are better than them. Once the lie is
obliterated.....we can begin living from the truth....start there....and begin
to turn our own lives and this earth around.
